Honza Zamojski

Honza Zamojski (born 1981) – visual artist, curator, editor and publisher. Founder of Morava Books, co-founder of the Mundin publishing house (with Grażyna Kulczyk). He studied philosophy and cultural anthropology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and graphics at the Fine Arts Academy in Poznań.

Zamojski is the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s scholar as well as a laureate and finalist of a number of artistic competitions. In 2011, he was entitled the “Kulturysta (Culture-builder) of the Year” by Polish Radio 3’s listeners; he was also awarded with the bronze medal at the International Book Fair in Leipzig as a part of “The World’s Most Beautiful Book” contest. He won the 2nd prize in the “Views” competition, organized by the Deutsche Bank Foundation and the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, and was nominated to “Polityka’s Passport” in the “Visual Arts” category.

His works have been presented in many exhibitions worldwide, such as “Four Eggs Theory” at FUTURA Gallery in Prague, “Self Portrait With Fish” at Andrew Kreps Gallery in New York, “Up And Down” at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw and “M D R N B D S M” at Bunkier Sztuki in Cracow.
