Karolina Jabłońska

Karolina Jabłońska (born 1991) is a graduate of the Painting Faculty at the Fine Arts Academy in Cracow and, currently, a PhD student at the Academy. She creates characteristic, decorative and lively-hued paintings, in which exotic plants and animals entwine in old masters-style compositions and a fluid, art-décoish  contour encloses folk-inspired, naïve motifs.

She participated in the 42nd “Bielska Jesień” Painting Biennial finale. She was also nominated for the prize awarded by the University of Arts in Poznań – “New Image – New Look”, got an honorouable mention in the “Promocje” competition, organized by Gallery of Art in Legnica and came 3rd  in the 2nd “Painting As A Universal Language” Competition.
